What Navora's product sourcing means for your business

What is Navora's food-product sourcing offer?

You tell Navora which Indian food product you need; Navora finds a suitable supplier in its network, gathers the product information and documents, and supports the commercial discussion until terms are agreed in writing.

Supplier products are made by partner suppliers in India. Navora Brand products, such as Navora Honey Shot, are developed and marketed by Navora itself.

How can businesses use these products?

As bulk ingredients, as retail or own-label lines, or on food-service menus, depending on the product, format and supplier.

  • Importers and distributors: add Indian lines to a range
  • Wholesalers and retailers: bulk or retail-ready formats
  • Food service and hospitality: ingredients for kitchens and menus
  • Food brands: private label, where a capable supplier is identified

What decides the price and availability?

Specification, volume, packing, destination and delivery terms, so prices are quoted per enquiry rather than listed.

Who pays for carriage and insurance, and where risk passes, is commonly set using the International Chamber of Commerce's Incoterms® rules, agreed as part of the commercial terms.

Buying questions

Questions about Navora products

What buyers usually ask before requesting specifications or samples.

What Indian food products does Navora supply?

Ginger, green cardamom, honey, millets and rice, plus Navora Honey Shot.

Navora's current range covers spices (ginger and green cardamom), natural honey, millets and rice, sourced through supplier relationships in India, and Navora Honey Shot, a single-serve honey product sold under the Navora brand. Navora Honey Candy is coming soon, and vegetables and fruits are a planned future category.

What is the difference between a Navora Brand product and a Supplier Product?

Navora Brand products are developed and marketed by Navora; Supplier Products are made by partner suppliers in India.

A Navora Brand product, such as Navora Honey Shot, is developed and marketed under the Navora name. A Supplier Product is sourced through Navora's supplier relationships in India, and Navora is not its manufacturer. Coming Soon marks a Navora product in development, and Future Category marks a category Navora plans to add. Every product on this page carries one of these labels.

How do I get specifications, samples or a price?

Send the product, format, approximate quantity and destination market.

Use the Request Product Information button or the contact form, and include the product, required format, approximate quantity and destination market. Navora confirms the specifications, samples, documents and commercial terms currently available. Prices depend on specification, volume, packing and delivery terms, so they are quoted per enquiry rather than listed.

Can I buy in bulk or under my own label?

Yes. Bulk supply and private label are both discussed on enquiry.

Bulk supply, retail formats and private label are all discussed as part of an enquiry. Private-label products are offered only where a capable supplier has been identified for the product and format you need.

Which certifications and documents are available?

It depends on the product, supplier and destination market.

Where relevant, Navora requests available specifications, test reports, certifications and business documents from the supplier for your review. A certification is published on a product page only when Navora holds current evidence for that product and supplier. Tell us what your market requires when you enquire.

Can I download a product catalogue?

Yes. A PDF catalogue and a sheet for each product are free to download.

The full Navora product catalogue is available as a PDF from the top of this page, and each product page has its own one-page product sheet. Both are generated from the same information as this website, so they stay up to date.

What rules apply to importing Indian food into the UK?

UK food law applies, with extra border checks for some high-risk foods.

Food imported into Great Britain must meet UK food law, and some food of non-animal origin is classed as high-risk and needs extra border checks. The Food Standards Agency publishes the current requirements. On the Indian side, APEDA promotes agricultural and processed food exports and the Spices Board India supports spice exports. Navora discusses the documentation your market requires as part of each enquiry.
